What does it mean to be free in Christ when you keep falling?
Jesus told people who had just believed Him that they were slaves, and then He told them what freedom is. A slave lives in a house on terms. A son belongs to it for good. Seven days on what that freedom means for someone who keeps falling: the fruit of the Spirit as a longer fuse rather than no fire, Paul crying “O wretched man that I am” one verse before “no condemnation,” God asking Jonah twice whether his anger was doing him any good, and Peter, who cursed and swore beside one charcoal fire, being fed and given work beside another.
