ABOUT THIS SERIES
The storm does not ask permission. It arrives — the diagnosis, the betrayal, the loss, the pressure with no visible end. Peace is not the absence of the storm. Peace is the Presence in the storm. The disciples woke Jesus because the boat was filling; He rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be still” — then He asked them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” (Mark 4:39-40). The peace was there before the storm broke, because He was there. This 7-day journey traces how to stay anchored when everything is rocking your boat: not by managing the waves, but by keeping eyes on the One who commands them.
You refresh the news to see if your world is still intact. You try to manage every variable, control every outcome. But the tighter you grip, the less peace you have. This week traces the Anchor behind the veil, the Voice that commands the wind, the Presence you deliberately set, the Hand that catches when you sink, and the Umpire that rules the heart. The storm does not surprise Him. The Anchor holds. The Word commands. The Presence sustains. The Hand catches. The Umpire rules.
